As an Account Executive for Electrical Services, you will leverage your effective interpersonal skills to secure new contracts, cultivate long-term client relationships, and focus on business development across all Plan Group lines.

To excel in this role, you must effectively utilize your strong communication and leadership abilities to positively influence clients, maximize profits, and drive results.

As an Account Executive, Electrical Services, you will:

  • Identify prospective customers and key decision-makers through direct outreach methods such as calls, emails, networking, and partnerships.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, explore new market opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic action plans to meet individual and company goals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Cultivate relationships with decision-makers to generate interest in Energy Solutions and EV Infrastructure.
  • Conduct site visits for meetings, presentations, and technical assessments.
  • Address customer management needs by collaborating with operations to deliver solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal sales support to organize customer information and create sales proposals.
  • Assist in managing opportunity flow, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Support the completion of customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Prepare and deliver client quotations, define scopes of work, and recommend value-added services.
  • Regularly report on opportunities and progress to the Senior Management Team.
  • Gather and analyze market and competitor data to enhance our positioning and strategy.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting products and services to existing clients and developing new accounts.
  • Provide post-sale support to resolve client issues and assist major accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality system.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to obtain pricing for required parts.
  • Manage and coordinate projects with Field Technicians.
  • Identify and pursue integrated business opportunities across the company.
  • Utilize positive client relationships to assist in Accounts Receivable collections when needed.
  • Perform job functions in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Red Seal Electrical License or relevant certification is an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Business Development & Account Management within the Construction and Services industries.
  • Experience with Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and National Accounts is preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated systematic and organized approach to multitasking.
  • Ability to work independently, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and managing heavy workloads effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting information confidently and professionally.
