This is an exceptional opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside a talented teams.
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for a range of installation activities, including but not limited to:
- Installation of structured cabling systems, including multi-pair copper, inside/outside fiber optic, and coaxial cables
- Cable routing, forming, prepping, terminating, labeling, and testing
- Working with a wide range of connectors, patch panels, patch cords, outlets, and cable assemblies
- Use of hand tools, ladders, testers, barricades, and required safety equipment
- Troubleshooting inside and outside plant cable issues, performing repairs, and validating test results
- Installation of access points, network hardware, and security equipment
- Cable demolition/removal and recycling
- Adherence to all safety procedures and site requirements
- Material handling, inventory control, and documentation
- Class 5 driver's license and valid police clearance required
To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations.
Additionally, you must meet the following experience requirements:
- Current MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms)
- Current Fall Protection
- Current Confined Space Entry and Monitor
- Current WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
