Our focus, to connect the building and the people who work and or live within them together by optimizing the building operations and the way upon which the occupants interact with the building to improve their overall experience.

Leveraging your understanding of IT, IoT, building and clinical systems along with your experience with systems integration and interoperability you will take a leadership role in solution development for both pursuits and delivery.

As our Solution Integration Architect you will:

  • Be a highly motivated, respectful and ethical individual with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively and professionally with our partners, our clients and your company team members
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) based on design and source equipment and services from relevant manufacturers and developers
  • Determine the requirements for building control systems, IT systems, customer centric systems to communicated and interoperate
  • Define functional workflow requirements for our programmers to support the development of the required interfaces and or applications
  • Have the ability to self-perform the necessary research to develop solution workflows that meet our customer requirements
  • Participate and or lead customer workshops to capture functional requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the ICAT Pursuits team by reading and understanding the pertinent technical and functional requirements relative to your scope within the RFP and develop, design and price solutions to meet those requirements while understanding both the risks and opportunities as it pertains to your solution
  • Have the ability to develop, contribute or oversee the creation and delivery of Solution Briefs, Solution Design, Functional Specification, Testing & Commissioning and As-Built documentation

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of practical experience in both application development & information systems
  • Computer Science or Software Engineering post-secondary degree or applicable
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise data and systems integration
  • Understanding of wired/wireless networks, virtual machines, physical and virtual storage systems, RTLS, Unified Communications systems
  • Understanding of base building systems such as; CCTV, Access Control, Elevator, Lighting Control, Metering, Life Safety, Electrical, Mechanical etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Operating Systems, software development, standards, API’s and programming languages such as:
    • REST/JSON/SOAP/XML/JDBC
    • HL7, XDS
    • JavaScript, HTML, HTTP/HTTPS, JSP
    • iOs and Android
    • AIX, Windows, Linux etc.
    • MODBUS, BACnet, TCP/IP
    • Digital Twin
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Thorough understanding and experience in cloud based solutions such as Azure, AWS and Google
  • Have the ability to multitask and manage you time accordingly to allow you to engage in multiple pursuits and or projects at the same time
  • The drive and the willingness to continue to learn and expose themselves to new ideas, emerging technologies or processes
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel
